You may perhaps halve your bets if the pack is unfavorable and increase if the pack is favorable but don’t let this take over your progression method.

Administration: Your preparation for play is vital. Don’t go into a game unprepared. Know the rules and conditions before you buy chips. The game starts on the first hand.
Cooperation: Ensure all the elements of your game are together.
Economy of Effort: (triage) Husband your effort and use it for most gain. Don’t send good money after bad. Don’t waste time, effort, money and opportunities on a poor return. Remember the odds.
